We have gone past all bank holidays for 2009 (except Christmas) and now hoping that ‘Green shoots' will materialise and enquiries will turn to orders.
Since my last blog, I have had a number of enquiries which has given me a high value of quotations. Converting them is my next objective.
A chocolatier, meat processor, sandwich manufacturer, bakeries and other food manufacturers have asked for quotations. Products include plastic crates, pastry sheeter, bread tins, pallet containers or Dolav's and bespoke design items for craft food companies.
Orders have resulted for bread pans, mutton trays, baking trays and plastic containers.
Also back into the swing of networking in Chester and visits in October to Wirral and Liverpool.
This should mean I am very busy. What is does mean is that the ‘Green Shoots' are there .
Have completed and sent my first e mail mailing to a number of companies in the north- west making an offer which I hope they will take up. The early results are encouraging.
Taken time out to visit the Wirral food and Drink festival and local farmers markets. Also a charity function at Chester racecourse in aid of Claire House children Charity. This was organised by Cheshire Witches (jokes about broom sticks in the car park were not appreciated by some) Well done to Chester racecourse and the celebrity guests including Chester Jets basketball team.
