Coalition or Collaboration?

The early days of May were dominated by the General Election. The electorate didn't want the incumbent party to form a new government, were not sure about the main opposition and made great noises about the party in 3rd place. Within a week after polling day we had a coalition or was it a collaboration.

The OED definitions of both as follows:
Coalition: Temporary alliance of combined action
Collaboration: Work jointly especially in a literary or artistic production.

We tend to see politicians working in a coalition and business people working in collaboration. Whatever it is, we are holding on for an uncomfortable ride until 2015.

However the month was a good one for sales of stacking containers, sundries, aluminium foil containers, nest/stacking containers, ingredient storage, stainless steel racks and bread pans.

Customers include sandwich manufacturers, caterers, food manufacturers, bakers, pharmaceutical manufacturer, food retailer

There were not as many enquiries as usual, however I am still confident that the market place is slowly gaining confidence after the recession. I hope that stocks of raw materials are not low so delivery times will not extend to the detriment of British businesses and companies turn to foreign manufacturers for their products.

I also managed to escape for a week to the south-west coast of Scotland with Ann. We relaxed in Burns country, walked a little and took a return visit to Glasgow, a much underrated city

To conclude this month, I have talked more at networking to individuals and companies about working together to ensure we help each other in a competitive market place.

Would this action be termed as coalition or collaboration?>
